We are in Singapore


We’re in singapore. The flight was very long but ok. Singapore is really hot and humid but still amazing with fantastic tall buildings. They look so exotic when they are lit up at night!

    Try the black ants on white rice, scorpion on shrimp toast, and Buddha Jumps Over the Wall, which contains cordyceps — caterpillars with their brains exploded by fungus. Yum!

    We’re leaving Singapore tomorrow but I’m trying to convince everybody that black ants and rice would make an excellent mid day snack when we return after the Borneo leg. Exploding brain caterpillars might be a step too far although if tey have chocolate scorpions, the kids might be interested. Will let you know.
